So where should you go
We have visited and written up 8 VIP venues in Hanoi, and each one is different. Tell us how many people and what time, and we will check availability and work out the total in advance.
See all 8What to budget
VIP massage in Hanoi runs 1,000,000 to 3,500,000 VND per person. The range is wide because course length and content differ by venue — even inside one shop, the short and long courses can be nearly double each other. Here are the eight places we visit.
| Venue | Area | Range (VND) |
|---|---|---|
| Gangnam Spa | My Dinh | 1.0M – 1.8M |
| D Salon | My Dinh | 1.0M – 3.0M |
| Moon Spa | My Dinh | 1.5M – 2.0M |
| 98 Spa | My Dinh | 1.5M – 2.0M |
| Sun Spa | My Dinh | 1.5M – 2.5M |
| Sora | My Dinh | 1.6M – 3.5M |
| Amazing | My Dinh | 1.6M – 3.5M |
| Su Sauna | My Dinh | 1.7M – 3.5M |
Is the tip extra?
No. The price on the sheet already includes the tip at most places. This is the part people get wrong. Elsewhere the massage price and the tip are separate, so you stand at the door doing mental arithmetic. Here the one number usually covers it. It does vary a little by venue. Ask us and we will send you that shop's price sheet as a photo — course by course, with whether the tip is included.
Cards do not work
None of the eight places we visit take cards. They take Vietnamese dong in cash, US dollars, Korean won, or a bank transfer. Cards are the one thing that does not work. If you find that out at the door at midnight, you are walking back out to find an ATM. Bring cash. Dollars and won are fine if you have not changed money.
What is the roster?
The roster is the list of who is working that night. It changes daily. If you turn up and it is not what you hoped for, the evening is gone. So message us before you go and we will send you that night's roster as a photo. Decide first, then go. We cannot post it on the site — it changes every day. That is why we keep the chat open.
Walking there after karaoke
In the Korean quarter, the karaoke rooms and the massage shops sit in the same few alleys. No taxi needed. Most open from noon until 1–3am, so they are still open when karaoke finishes. These are measured distances.
| Karaoke | Nearest VIP massage | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| Flamingo | 98 Spa | 26m |
| Monster | Gangnam Spa | 32m |
| The Red | Gangnam Spa | 39m |
| Hangang | Amazing | 55m |
| Valentine | Amazing | 87m |
| Bacchus | Amazing | 199m |
